Standing Up

Oh my gosh, sometimes I amaze myself. I am really enjoying this whole independence thing. I can stand up on anything now and I can even take steps by myself, as in the picture. I was a little scared at first but, mommy and daddy have me walk over to them with this cool walker I got for Christmas. Thanks grandma and grandpa! I fall sometimes, but all I have to do is cry and stick out my bottom lip (that's the trick, the bottom lip gets me anything I want from mommy. She's a sucker for the puppy dog face!)

Oh this is the life. I even got to share a cherry sucker with mommy last night. It was good, although I didn't think it was fair that I did a lot of sucking on that sucker and finally got to the tootsie center and mommy ate it! Maybe next time.....

So, you know how I told you that I stand in my crib now? Well, whenever I wake up from nap time I stand up and wait for mommy and daddy to come get me, but in the meantime I grab a hold of my pooh characters on my mobile and I yank them right off! Then, I throw them on the floor for mommy to pick back up. Except yesterday, mommy was spying on me and she saw me do it. She got mad and then called me No No. I don't know if I like my new name. Daddy calls me that sometimes too.

I overheard mommy telling daddy she thinks she will be bad at disciplining me because I smile when she calls me no no and I make her laugh. I guess I have to keep on smiling! I mean come on, who can resist this face?

HI YOU!! (as mommy would say it)
Well, here I am doing this cool blog thing that it seems everyone is doing. I thought that this might be a good idea to do since I moved away from home. Now I can let everyone know what is up with me and new things that I am doing every day.

I live in California now and its okay.... I guess. I haven't done too much since mommy and daddy are busy unpacking. Since I've been here I have perfected crawling, which I have been trying to do for a month now! I am also able to pull myself up on furniture and stand on my own. I am usually standing in my crib when mommy comes to get me in the mornings. Sometimes I fall though. I think my toys gang up on me and push me over. They have turned on me and beat me up all the time. It's okay though, all I have to do is cry and mommy and daddy pick me up and hug me.

So far I have eaten a lot of veggies too (YUCK) The only ones I like are peas and spinach. (I eat spinach because I like mommy's face when she changes my diaper afterwards!) But, finally mommy and daddy gave me peach cobbler last night. Let me tell you, that stuff is
AMAZING!
