I'm 9 Months Old Today!!!!

WOOHOO!!!! I am 9 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!! I went to the doctor this morning for my check-up and I didn't have to have any shots this time! I did have to get my finger pricked so they could test my blood for anemia, but I didn't cry at all. The doctor said that I was a good boy and most babies cry. Well, I'm not a baby, so that is why I didn't cry.

I am very healthy and am doing things at the right time I should be. I am walking way early and all the doctors were surprised. One doctor didn't believe us, so I had to prove it by walking all over his office! I weighed in at 20 lbs 6.9 oz. That is right smack dab in the middle of the weight chart for babies (Oops, I mean, big kids) my age. And, I am at the very high end of the height chart. I am 30.5 inches tall!!!!! The doctor said that is tall for my age. Mommy thinks I am tall because I eat lots of spicnach and it makes me big. The doctor also says Mommy and Daddy need to make sure that the house is baby-proofed because I am a little busy body and will get into everything soon! Mommy said that I already do....... (Little does she know that I haven't reached my full potential quite yet. I've been taking it easy on her!) The Pediatrician also said that I can eat real people food now too. Just as long as they are tiny pieces. Well, I gotta go and undo the cleaning mommy just did in the living room..... See ya later!

Playing Outside

Hi everybody! Well, this weekend has been so much fun. That's because Daddy has been home since it's Memorial's Day weekend. Today, Daddy and Mommy and me went to gather some rock to put on our dirt in the front yard. Mommy and Daddy cannot afford grass, so it is just dirt. We went to get the rocks from the mountains behind our house. Well, actually, Daddy says that they are just hills. But, I think they are mountains. This is me outside when we got home. It was kinda hot today but, it's getting nicer this evening.....

I'm So Sleepy

A couple of nights ago I was watching TV on the couch with Mommy and Daddy. It was about 8 o'clolck and I started getting fussy, so Mommy gave me some juice. I drank some of it, but then the sleepiness overcame me and I leaned over on Daddy's tummy and fell asleep. They thought it was so cute because I fell asleep mid-suck!

I Can Feed Myself! (kinda)

Today was so much fun! I was eating dinner and Mommy let me have the spoon! I fed it to myself and made a mess at the same time! Today, I also got to eat green beans with mashed potatoes for the first time!

10 STEPS!!!

Oh my goodness! A couple of nights ago Daddy was playing with me and I took TEN STEPS right in a row! Mommy and Daddy were so excited! I am really getting the hang of this whole walking thing. I really enjoy scaring mommy and daddy by walking so well already!






Mommy gave me an apple wagon wheel snack and when I turned around to look at her, this is what she saw! I have absolutely no idea how my snack got there!!!

Happy Mommy's Day!

Hi everybody!
Wow, today has been so much fun already! This morning I woke up really early because I was so excited that tody is Mommy's Day! I got her flowers and a card and so did Daddy. We are also taking her out tonight and spoiling her. This is a picture of me and mommy on our very first Mother's Day together. Last time, I was only in her belly, but she said that this Mother's Day is much more fun because she can give me hugs and lots of kisses and she couldn't last year. Happy Mommy's Day to all the mom's out there and have a great day!

My First Steps!

YAY!!!! Last night mommy was playing with me and she stood me up a few feet away from her and called for me to come over to her. Mommy and Daddy have been doing that a lot lately, but I was too chicken to take steps alone so I would reach for them and fall into their arms! But, last night I actually walked to mommy by myself! I took two full steps on my own and then reached her hands and grabbed ahold and then walked really fast into her lap. Then, when Daddy got home from work, mommy told him what I did. I showed off and took THREE steps for him! Mommy and daddy got so excited they screamed and it scared me!! I am such a big boy and unlike the last post, mommy and daddy say that "when it comes to walking, I am a pretty quick learner!"

Picking Up Bubbles

I know that I have been posting lots of pictures of me in the bath tub lately, but mommy thought this was funny. I got a bath this morning and mommy put bubbles in there with me! I had no idea what to do with them, so I figured I would eat them. I tried really hard to pick them up between my thumb and forefinger, but I couldn't pick up a single bubble! Then, I finally got smart and decided to scoop them up in my palm............

Then, I ate them!

When It Comes to Doing Stupid Things... I'm a Slow Learner

Mommy says that when it comes to doing stupid things, I'm a slow learner. It is because for the past few days I have discovered my passion for crawling underneath chairs. I can get on my belly and scoot my way underneath the kitchen chairs and stools. Only, after I get under there, I can't get back out and I have to cry until mommy and daddy help me back out.

My Sippy Cup

I may be a slow learner sometimes, but look at me with my sippy cup! I think I finally have this down! I still like drinking out of big people cups better, but then I just get wet all down my shirt so mommy and daddy like the sippy cup better!

3 Teeth, 4 Teeth, 5 TEETH!!!

Oh my gosh! This weekend I got TWO new teeth! Now I have 3 on the top and 2 on the bottom. These babies keep poppin' up everywhere! They hurt a lot and I get pretty cranky right before they break through the gums, but mommy understands and she gives me hugs and tylenol. (and popsicles!!) Can you see my teeth in this picture?

Mommy says that in this picture I look like I am a bug being attracted to lit bug zapper!

Bath Time With Daddy

This morning I had so much fun because Daddy gave me my bath! Mommy always does it, but now that I am in the big boy tub, Daddy wanted to play with me. We played with rubber duckies and a sunken ship set!

Hajile

I had a visit from Hajile today! He is one of my best friends and he usually feels the same way I do. When I scream, he screams. When I smile, he smiles! And he is ALWAYS wearing the same thing as me! Here is a picture of me and hajile playing together. He is so much fun to play with. Grandpa Doug is the one that told me his name was Hajile.... H-A-J-I-L-E. Strange name, don't you think?!

Just Like Daddy

Today Mommy says that I look just like Daddy! It's because I am wearing camoflauge shorts just like the pants Daddy wears to work everyday. Everybody said that I looked more like Daddy when I was born and Mommy thinks I still do. Although, a few people lately have said that I look just like Mommy. I don't know why I would look like her...... She's a GIRL!! And, she has hair!
