My Surgery

As most of you already know, I had my tonsils taken out this past Tuesday. It was a VERY early morning. Daddy, Mommy and I went down to the Doctor and I had to put on this silly gown and hair cover. The Doctor was really nice and gave me a stuffed animal- He's an elephant that I proudly named "Taco" (only after Mommy talked me out of naming him, Focko).
I was not very happy about having to take my clothes off. I refused to smile for any of my pictures. Daddy and Mommy understood though. The surgery took about 1 hour and then about 30 minutes of observation before I was able to go home. For the most part, it went pretty fast and I was home by late morning.

We are now on day four after my surgery and I am doing MUCH better. I am starting to drink a lot more, my fever is gone, I'm sleeping well and I'm talking and playing almost like normal again! I am really sick of applesauce, pudding, jello and malto meal. Tonight I get to eat Mac & Cheese!!!
These were some pictures taken a few days before my surgery.. Mommy thought you'd like to see some "happier" pictures after seeing the ones above!

I have already been asking to go to the park and go swimming, so hopefully by the end of the weekend I can begin playing outside a little bit too!

I Went to the Mountains!

This last week has been so much fun! We went to Las Vegas to pick up Grandma Donita and then went to Colorado to visit more family. On our way, we stopped at Hoover Dam. It was a long way down! We also did some fun stuff in Vegas, like watch a juggling act. The whole time I kept saying, "I wanna be in the circus when I grow up!"
I loved to play with the puzzle too! I got to make cool designs. ( I called it "Checkers")

Grandma Donita had a Birthday while we were at the cabin this year! I got to help light the birthday candles and carry it over to the table.

When we were in Colorado, we took a hike around a big lake and got to see a huge waterfall! It was a long hike, and I had to be carried some of the way, but we made it!

Every time we go to the cabin, we have a weenie roast! I like the hot dogs and smores!

Daddy even built a swing for me and JJ! It was a wooden swing, but it was pretty fun! JJ liked it too.
(Mommy also took pictures of us on a train ride, but they're on a different memory card, so I'll post those later!)
