Cookies for Santa

Here some pictures from Christmas Eve. When we get back to CA, I will post some more photos from Christmas.
This year, just like last year, I made some yummy cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Mommy helped and so did Jaydlie. We made Snickerdoodles! (We even got to eat some, and they were gooood!)
Here's all of us making the cookies!
Below is the video of me coating the cookies with the cinnamon sugar and filling up the pan.

As the cookies finished baking, I put them on a plate and carried them to the fireplace. Along the way, the cookies kept sliding off the plate onto the floor! Mommy said that Santa wouldn't mind so, we scooped them up and put them back on the plate. Santa must have really liked them because on Christmas morning I got up and ran straight to the cookies and said, "Cookie all gone!!" Santa ate them all.

Christmas in Lincoln

I had a great Christmas! I got to rip into lots of presents and got some really neato stuff. To kick off the week of Christmas, we all loaded up in the cars and drove to Lincoln to visit some family.
In the picture above, I am posing with Great Grandma Jan. I hadn't seen her since last Christmas time, so I was a lot different this time around. I had so much fun with her! We were so glad that she was able to come and see us during our short stay in Lincoln.

In the picture below, Jaydlie and I are sitting with Great Grandma Connie. We saw her back in October, so it hadn't been too long, but it was great seeing her again and sharing some of Christmas time with her and some other family in Nebraska.

Waiting for Santa....

Merry Christmas Eve! This is me waiting for Santa to come. I am having a great time here in KC with everyone and I am understanding what Christmas is all about a little more this year. I can't wait to open presents tomorrow. I love ripping into gifts!
This was my 3rd time visiting Santa and Jaydlie's first. Don't we make a cute pair in our matching outfits?! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, but Mommy will try really hard this week to update with new stuff.

What's new with me? Well, I am talking up a storm now and I can pronounce my words really well. I love to play and be really loud all the time. I like playing video games with Uncle Chris.. Grandpa Doug reads a book called Tweedle Beetles almost every night when I go to bed. I have a pretty good routine, but have started not taking naps much anymore. I have "quiet time" (or what I call, "quiet night") where I sit and watch a video during Jayde's nap time. Not too much else going on here.
Everyone have a Merry Christmas and make sure to go to bed early so Santa can come!

Birthday fun!

On Tuesday, Mommy celebrated her 22nd birthday. Grandma made a nice dinner and cake for her! Mommy wanted me to help blow out the candles, so here is the video. I had lots of fun with these re-lighting candles!

Chuga, Chuga.... CHOO-CHOO!

Well, here we are in Kansas City at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We survived the drive out here and even got here on Wednesday instead of the expected Thursday arrival! We had a yummy Thanksgiving and on Saturday, we decorated for Christmas. My favorite part of the day was after Mommy, Uncle Chris and Aunt Traci put the train together. It goes around the base of the Christmas tree and choo-choos and rings its bell! I love sitting and watching it go around!

Hangin' with Family

Well, as you know Aunt Becky came to visit and we hosted a Thanksgiving meal at a commnity center by our house. We exchanged some Christmas gifts and ate lots of good food. The picture above is me and Jaydlie with Aunt Becky on Friday.

The picture below is me and my cousins, Oluchi and Kenechi. Oluchi is 3 and Kenechi is 3 months older than Jaydlie. Oluchi and I got along really well and played together a lot!
The picture to the right is me opening a Christmas gift! I really like opening presents! Well, that's it for the pictures on my blog, check Jayde's for a couple more. Sorry there aren't more photos. Mommy lost her camera and didn't find it until the party was almost over and by that time, some of the family had already left.
As you all know, we are on our way back to KC tomorrow and won't get there until Thursday. I will try to post some pics maybe on the weekend. Talk to you all later! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Mommy's a BAD Girl

This time Mommy admits she was a very bad girl. It's because my great grandma and grandpa came out from Arizona to visit me, and we didn't get many pictures when they were here. Mommy says she is so sorry, but here are some of me yesterday afternoon. I just got up from my nap so I was kind of grumpy. In the picture above I am eating my "cars" which are fruit snacks shaped like cars and trucks! They are my favorite snack.
Tomorrow we are hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner for all of Daddy's family so it will be a busy day. However, Mommy says she promises to get some pictures of me and Jaydlie with our cousins and post them before we leave for KC on Tuesday!!!

Watching Cartoons

Okay, okay. I know this isn't very exciting, but this is what I did after my naptime. I watched one of my new favorite cartoons, Word World. Daddy and Mommy even like it too! It teaches me new words and fun things like that. It teaches how to spell and read too! Hey, have I told you that I can count to 10?! I do it very rarely though. I get bored halfway through. And, I sometimes skip number 7. I'm gettting there!

The Marine Corps Birthday Ball

We have been in Vegas for Daddy's work the past few days. Daddy and Mommy got all dressed up and went out for a special night. The Marines all had a birthday on the same day!! They said they had lots of fun, meanwhile, Jaydlie and I stayed with Daddy's Aunt. We were very well behaved. This post has no pictures of me or Jaydlie, but Mommy promises to take some pictures of us and post them by the end of the day!! Daddy and Mommy forgot to take the camera with us on our trip. Right now, as I am posting this, I am supposed to be taking my nap. So, I should go! Check back later after my naptime for pictures of me!

Halloween Fun!!!

Mommy and Daddy were trying to get me to stick my hand inside the pumpkin to get out the goop, but I was not about to do it! Watch the video above and see my reaction to my first pumpkin carving experience!

My very first pumpkin turned out to be Thomas the Tank Engine!!! Didn't Daddy do a great job?!

Here is a video of me putting pumpkin stickers onto paper. I liked doing this instead of carving my pumpkin!I really liked putting my pumpkin stickers on my paper, but I like them on my face and tummy better!

Check back tomorrow for pictures of me and Jaydlie in our costumes! We're going trick-or-treating tonight! Oh, by the way, the picture below shows what Jaydlie was doing the whole time we were carving pumpkins! Silly girl, missing out on all that fun!

The Park

So, today we decided to go and play at the park for a little while, and I had fun! I went down slides and climbed up the ladders. We even played catch with a bouncy ball! We haven't been to the park much lately, but since the weather is getting nicer, I hope we begin to go more often. A guy like me has got to get rid of some of my energy! (Mommy needs me to also!)

This is how I like to go down the slide! On my belly!

Another Comparison

This picture of me was taken on my exact 4 month birthday, and the picture of Jaydlie was taken 3 days before her 4 month birthday... Look how much alike we look!!! (Mommy can't help herself but find alike pictures and compare us.)

Bathtime with Jaydlie!

Today was the first time that I got to take a bath with Jaydlie! I am usually a crazy boy in the bath tub, but when Jayde was there I was a lot calmer. Jaydlie liked it too! She didn't cry at all and really liked being in the water. She kept watching what I was doing. I wish she could play with me!

I tried splashing water on her, and even though she didn't seem to mind, Mommy told not to and said that I needed to be nice since she is a lot littler than me. I hope Mommy lets us do this again soon!

I'm an Elephant!

Look at my cool Halloween costume! Grandma Kathy spent all day on Saturday making it for me. We tried to find a pattern for a froggy since they thought it would be funny for me to dress up like a froggy and act like one while I was trick-or-treating. But, we found this and thought it looked really cute! What do you think?!
Some fun things about me:
A new thing that I can do now is count to 5! Daddy and Mommy are so proud of me.
I can speak in sentences and my favorite is, "No, I don't want it!!"
I also really like to say, "GO AWAY!"
My favorite things are: Caillou, golf, going on walks, playing with cars, and hugging Jayde.

"Eli, Be a Froggy!"

The last couple of days my Grandma Kathy has been here! When she came, she brought some homemade goodies for me and Jaydlie. This is me snuggling with my new blanket that she made just for me! In the picture above, you can see my name in the top blue part. I thought that was cool!

I was watching Caillou the other day and on the show they started hopping up and down like froggies! This is me being a froggy....Probably one of the funniest videos yet! Enjoy!

Great Grandma and Great-Great Grandma!

I love to kiss Jaydlie (or, Jaydie, as I call her). She doesn't mind either. Sometimes I talk to her and tickle her cheeks to try to get her to smile!
Here I am in the picture to the left trying to get her to smile at me. She gave me the giggles though!
Great Grandma Connie and Great-Great Grandma Helen came to our house for a visit! They live all the way out in Nebraska, so it was really nice to be able to play with them! Here is a picture of all four of us.

Here is me spending some time with Great Great Grandma Helen.

Here's a video! Enjoy!

Being Silly....

As most of you know, Mommy hasn't been taking many pictures lately, hence the reason it has been a week and a half since the last update!! Today, when she brought the camera out, I went nuts and started running around the house! The video below is me being silly for the camera, and then at the end, I try to snatch the camera away from Mommy so I can see the video for myself!

Although not much has been going on lately, Mommy took this picture of me lounging in my chair watching one of my new favorite cartoons, Word World. It teaches me how to say lots of neat words. Today I learned how to say "Rocket!"

I Went Bowling!

Daddy and Mommy took me bowling for the first time on Saturday evening! I had so much fun, and at the beginning of our second game I even got a spare all by myself! Of course, the bumpers were up, but Daddy and Mommy said that I did a really good job for it being my first time playing!
