Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Today was such an exciting day! We got to wake up and see that Santa had left Jaydlie and I presents! We got lots of good stuff! We spent the whole day playing and eating some good food!
Here I am with my head stuck inside the big bag!

I love unwrapping presents! I had lots to open too! I was a pro by the end of the morning!

Here is Jayde and I baking cookies for Santa last night. We made chocolate chip cookies (with drool, might I add!) I helped pour in the ingredients and scoop them onto the cookie sheet!
Jaydlie helped too, but her favorite part was sticking her head in the bowl when it was mixing!

Our Snowman!

Isn't our snowman so cool?! We are very proud of ourselves!

We think our snowman looks so good! WE even had a real carrot for the nose!

I had lots of fun making snow angels this year too!

And throwing snowballs at Daddy, Mommy and Jaydlie!

Here is our house with the lights!

A Couple of Hours Later....

Jaydlie is now awake from her nap, so we can go outside and make a snowman! See ya later!

It's SNOWING at my house!!

Guess what? It's snowing at my house! Look at it! I think it's super cool, and JJ likes it too!
The snow is on the trees and the roof, but not so much on the street yet. It's been snowing for a couple of hours though!

Mommy still thinks people are crazy, because it was a snow day today for all the kids that go to school here. She thinks they're wimps and that they should try living in the midwest for a winter or two!

Sending a Letter to Santa!

We got to go see Santa Claus last weekend! I was such a good boy and sat on Santa's laps and told him what I wanted for Christmas, which was a Buzz Lightyear and a monster truck.
(Mommy here- ET and I were so impressed with this Santa Claus becaue his facial hair was completely real, and he was so sweet to the kids even though he had hundreds of kids sitting on his lap by the end of the day when we got there.)
On Sunday, Daddy and Mommy helped me write a letter to Santa Claus and we mailed it to the North Pole! That's where Santa lives, in case you didn't know. We sat down at the table and I told Mommy exactly what to write. This is what it said,

Hey Santa!
I've been a good Santa. I go to the potty chair all by myself. I play games with Jaydlie. You'd be so happy because I pull blankets down and make my bed.
You can come to my house to open the keys to open the door. It's a magic key.
I can cook cookies and Santa can eat the cookies. You can drink coffee just like JJ and just like me. I'm going to make black cookies so you can eat them.
Can you wrap up a car for JJ so she can surprise and she can open it? And me, a monster truck and a Buzz Lightyear?!
I can leave a bag so you can leave a surprise. It's a really, really BIG bag!
You can leave cany canes in my stocking!
Love you Santa.

After we were finished writing the letter, Mommy helped me walk it to the mail box.

And, here we are putting it in the mailbox! I hope Santa gets the letter really soon!

Random Stuff...

We decorated for Christmas! Daddy put up lights on the house and we decorated inside too! I loved helping put up ornaments and bulbs on the tree. However, my favorite decoration to put out was Santa's magic key. Since we don't have a chimney, Santa has to use a key to come into my house.
Here is Mommy, Jaydlie and me decorating the tree. Jayde got to put an ornament on the tree too!

This is not a very good picture of our lights, but here is our house this year! Daddy put up lights on our house and our 2 neighbor's houses! It looks so good. We also wrapped a light around our pilar out front and last night we put lights in the tree in the front yard!

Here is me sitting at the dinner table smiling at Mommy... Yes, it is spaghetti on my face. Mommy thinks I'm cute anyway!

Here is me pulling a string on the pull string pinata that Daddy made for Kate-Lynn. She is a second cousin of mine who turned 2, and her birthday party was this past weekend! I had lots of fun getting the candy!

Bedtime

We have a really good bedtime routine at our house. After we get our "Jammas" and milk, we go up to my room and read a book.

Most times, I get to choose the book. Sometimes Jayde can choose, and sometimes Daddy or Mommy get to choose. I think they do that because I like to pick the same books over and over again!

After the book is over, we all give kisses and hugs to eachother! This is me kissing Jayde.

Daddy and Mommy at the Ball!

Last week, Daddy and Mommy left to go to the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. It was about 2 1/2 hours away from our house, so Grandpa Rodger and Ola came up to watch me and Jaydlie. I had lots of fun with them! We even went to the park to play!
This is Mommy and a few of the girls that she hangs out with. She can't believe that we lived her for over 2 years before she made some good friends!

Here are Daddy and Mommy again. They said that they had lots of fun, but they were so happy to come back and see me and Jayde again!

Trick-Or-Treat

Sorry I'm a couple days late on posting pictures from Halloween! I had so much fun! I got to practice saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" during the day before Daddy got home. Daddy even took me outside our house to practice ringing the doorbell and everything! This is JJ and I in our costumes. Daddy and Mommy even made me a "peanuts" bag for my candy since I am an elephant!

I love my costume! It's sad that this will be the last time I can wear it though. I'm going to be bigger next year!

Here we are walking from house to house. We went to all three circles in my neighborhood. Mommy and Jaydlie went home after our circle because Jayde was getting cranky!

Here's a fun video of us trick-or-treating!

MORE Halloween Fun!!!

Last night, Daddy helped me and Jaydlie carve our pumpkin! When Mommy asked me what I wanted the pumpkin to look like, I said a SMILEY face!! Mommy asked if I wanted it to be scary, and I said no.

Unlike last year, I wasn't scared to get dirty and stick my hand inside the pumpkin! I helped get all the seeds and gunk out! And guess what?! Daddy washed them and roasted them in the oven. I LOVE eating pumpkin seeds!
Yum!

This is me with the final pumpkin. It didn't take too long, and I think it is so cool!

Here are the three of us, even though Jayde wouldn't stick her hand into the pumpkin. I'll have to teach her for next year!

This is the pumpkin in the dark, isn't it cool?! I can't wait to put it outside tomorrow for all our neighbors to see while we go trick-or-treating!

A Halloween Party!

This past weekend, we went to a Halloween party! I got to wear my costume, which I have decided that I am going to be an elephant again! The costume still fits me really well and I got excited when Daddy and Mommy asked if I wanted to wear my elephant costume one more time before I got too big for it. Anyway, it was the BEST homemade costume there!

I got to eat some yummy snacks and play cool games. JJ dressed up in my old costume, as a chicken! Everyone thought she was pretty cute too.
Here I am doing some neat arts and crafts. They had foam picture frames and stickers that we could decorate them with to go on the fridge! I made one and so did Mommy.

This is me playing pin the nose on the pumpkin. I think that I did pretty well!
Mommy and Daddy are trying to teach me what Halloween is about and what I should do when we go trick-or-treating. We have decided to go around the neighborhood this year instead of going to the mall. Then, afterwords, we were invited to another party at my friends house! We will get to bob for apples and play in our costumes. It will be so much fun!

So, in the spirit of Halloween (and just because I like to), I decided to sing you a song about a SPIDER! Enjoy!

"What Did He Just Say?!"

Well, it's pretty boring around here again. All four of us came down with colds over the weekend. Yuck! The weather turned cold! It's down in the low 50's at night and the 70's during the day.
I guess there is one thing that happened that's kind of funny. Last night Mommy was eating a lemon ice and I wanted one. She began telling me, "No, it's really icky, you don't want any." I knew she was only saying that because she didn't want to share!! When Mommy started making faces and saying how yucky it was,
I simply said, "Okay, it's yucky... I'll eat it then!"
And I snatched it from her! I'm just too smart and her tricks don't work on big boys like me!

"It's Growing"

This is my new haircut... I thought it was fun at first for Daddy to cut my hair, but then when I looked in the mirror, I got really sad. I kept saying, "Daddy cut it off", "I need to put it back on." Mommy was very sad because I was sad. They kept telling me that I shouldn't have cut my own hair first.

I was feeling so sad about my hair, that Daddy said I could shave his head, so that we would look the same. That made me feel lots better! Daddy and Mommy kept telling me that I am not allowed to cut my own hair, or anyone elses hair except for this one time.

Here we are with our buzzed heads! Mommy kept telling me that my hair will grow back. Now, everytime they ask me, "Eli, where's you hair?!"
I say, "It's growing."
