Look Who I Found!

Last night I found my Daddy! I didn't get to play with him very much because we had a long drive home from the airport and then I had to go straight to bed. Today, he didn't have to work very long, so we've been playing.

I noticed this morning that he is wearing MY shirt too! I guess it's a good thing that I came along to help him out with his sense of style!

Thanks Grandpa Doug, Grandma Donita and Aunt Traci for everything the past few weeks. I had so much fun playing and babysitting Aunt Traci!

Green Stuff

Yesterday evening Grandma took me out to play in the green stuff outside. I liked it a lot and played in it for about an hour. I also really liked walking with Grandma on the sidewalk and we did that for a while too. I guess Mommy and Daddy can't afford green stuff for our house, because I can't imagine anyone not having it if they could!

Another thing that I wanted to let everyone know is that I am getting big. Today Grandma noticed that I got another tooth! That makes 8 teeth!!!! And, tonight I had my first kids meal at the restaurant with everyone else. And I got to feed it to myself!

I Miss My Daddy

Since I have been at Grandpa and Grandma's house I have had so much fun playing and getting into trouble, but I really miss my Daddy. I have been able to talk to him on the phone and even see him a little, like in the pictures. I don't know why I can't touch him. He reaches for me to give me hugs and I reach for him, but we never touch. It makes me sad, although I still smile when I see him. I can't wait until I can give him hugs for real.

A Secret Passage

WOW! Yesterday I found this really cool secret passage at Grandpa and Grandma's house. It is a door that leads from inside to outside and it is made just for me...... And the bad doggies, because I see them go through it a lot. I was a little chicken to go through it when I first discovered it, but today was another story. Today, I climbed through. I suddenly found myself on the deck in the backyard!

Climbing Up Stairs

I have just recently, since I've been at Grandpa and Grandma's house, been a little curious of stairs. I tried crawling up them once with Grandpa Doug and crawled up 3 steps and then fell backwards. Thank goodness Grandpa was there to catch me!

Tonight, I attempted again and got up 4 steps and then when Mommy passed me to take my picture, I turned around to look at her and then fell. But, again my butt was saved. I wish we had these cool things back in California at my house!

Happy Daddy's Day!

Today is Daddy's Day! Mommy says that today is a very special day for Daddy. I am very lucky that he loves me so much and I should thank him for all he does for me. So, thank you, Daddy, for feeding me, changing my diapers, playing with me, hugging and kissing me, trying to scare me (and then laughing when I jump), and most of all, thank you for bringing me into this world. (That was a smart decision!)

I love you Daddy! And even though I can't hug you today, I am still thinking about you and missing you!

I also wanted to say Happy Father's Day to both of my Grandpa's, Grandpa Doug and Grandpa Rodger. I love you guys!

Hangin' Out

Mommy, Aunt Traci and me were playing downstairs today for a long time. Mommy and Aunt Traci say today has been a lazy day. We got to play video games with Uncle Chris too! And then we ordered pizza and I got to eat some! It was nice to have a relaxing day after shopping yesterday.
I don't know what girls see in shopping!!! It's long and I got hungry, dirtied my pants, fell asleep and talked non-stop. Does that sound like fun to you? After all that, we finally left..... And Mommy and Aunt Traci didn't even buy anything!

Morning Cartoons

So, here I am watching some Sesame Street the other morning and Grandma and Mommy thought it was so funny. It was because I was in the middle of playing with my toys, when all of a sudden, Ernie came on the screen and I stopped dead in my tracks and SLOWLY went from a standing position to a squat, then slid down to a sitting position. I could not help myself, although, when Ernie left the show, I got back up and started playing with toys again. I geuss you could say that I am an Ernie fan.

The Park

Last night Grandma, Aunt Traci, Mommy and me took a walk over to the park and it was fun. I fell asleep in my stroller on the way over and then got woken up. I was a little cranky at first, but then I got happier on when Grandma got on the swing with me.

Having Fun!

When I got to Kansas City I found about a bubble machine that was at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Aunt Traci let me play with it, and it was so much fun! I liked to try to hit them and then pick them up off the floor. Below, is a picture of me playing with a maraca that I also found here at Grandpa and Grandma's. I like it a lot, even though Mommy had to take it away because I liked to put it in my mouth and walk around. Her and Grandma said that it just was not safe.

My Necktie

This is a picture of me in my necktie that I wore to Mommy's cousin's wedding this past weekend. Everyone said that I was sooo cute! Grandma said that I was very handsome. By the end of the night, even strangers knew me as "the baby with the necktie!"

I'm Sleepy

This is me on Saturday morning at the hotel in Grandpa and Grandma's KING size bed. Mommy says that I look soooo little! I didn't really feel like sleeping in my bed, so I shoved them out!

Mommy also says that she is really sorry about not posting on Thursday, but things got busy! And, she also says sorry because she didn't get any pictures of me over the weekend at the wedding. I hope the following pictures will make up for it!

A BIG Bathtub

This is me at the pool for the first time. It was me, Grandpa Doug, Grandma Donita, Aunt Traci and Mommy. I went into the baby pool first and got used to the water and then moved on to the big pool!



I was a little bit unsure at first, but then it was a little more fun after I got my feet wet.....
(No pun intended!)

Redondo Beach

Well, here I am. The very first time I get to see the ocean. These are pictures of me and Mommy and Daddy together at Redondo Beach Pier, which was right by our hotel room. We took a little walk on the beach in the afternoon and then I told Daddy how much I love him by celebrating Father's Day that night. I am really sad that I won't get to see him on Father's Day, but Mommy says I can talk to him on the webcam. I gave him a mousepad and a necktie, both with my pictures on it! He really liked them. Then, I made him wear the tie out to dinner. We went to a Japanese Steakhouse where the tables caught on fire! I didn't get scared though and Daddy and Mommy said it was the best!




Hey, Grandma Kathy, this is me eating a churro. You told me I needed to, so I made Daddy buy me one. Boy, was it yummy! Mommy had never had one either, and she really liked it too.

KC- Here I Come!

Hi everybody! Well, I just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow morning, Daddy, Mommy and me will be heading down to Redondo Beach to spend the night by the airport. Mommy and me will be leaving to go on an airplane to Kansas City on Wednesday morning to see Grandpa Doug, Grandma Donita, Aunt Traci and the bad doggies. (Mommy says they are named Molly and Savannah......)

Anyway, I will not post anything on the blog until Thursday this week (hopefully), so the picture above is the one you will have to use for your Eli-fix over the next few days! I am not sure what an Eli-fix is, but that is what Grandma Donita calls it when she just can't seem to get over how irresistible I am.

And then on Friday, I am off to Indiana to see Grandma's side of the family and to watch Mommy's cousin get married. I will have Mommy take lots of pictures with my relatives for you to see. Will talk to you later!

Fighting With Daddy

This is Daddy and me playing last night. He was beating me up! It didn't hurt though, and everytime he would knock me over, I would get up and go back for more!

5 Teeth, 6 Teeth, 7 TEETH!!!!

Okay, so in this picture I am a little cranky, but I have a good excuse! Over the last couple of days, I got 2 new teeth. They are on the bottom row. One on each side next to the middle ones. Mommy noticed today that they broke through. I actually haven't been to cranky about teeth coming in and that makes Mommy and Daddy very happy.
That brings the total to SEVEN!!!!

My 1st Chocolate Chip Cookie

Today Mommy made chocolate chip cookies and when I woke up from my nap, she gave me one! It was so yummy and I ate it all up. Mommy says no more today because it might upset my tummy if I have too much chocolate. I think I would be fine, but I geuss I have to obey. Maybe when she isn't looking I'll take another one. Or, maybe I can hit Daddy up for one later on tonight!

Mommy made me post this picture because she thought it was funny. I am chewing on my cookie, but she says I look like I got in a fight and now have a fat lip......

My New Shades

These are my new shades and I think I look pretty good. Mommy says that even though they stick out past the back of my head, they are still mighty cute!

I've Been a Very, Very Bad Boy

Today when Mommy came into my room to get me up from my nap, she saw that I did something very, very bad. Remember how I told you before that I like taking the animals off of my mobile? Well, today I did it, only I broke the thing right off! I yanked on the arch and it snapped in half. Mommy was really mad and said it was un-fixable. She said that I shouldv'e listened to her when she said that I should not do that, and because I did it anyway, I am a bad boy. I don't think I agree.....
However, she said it ws partly her fault because she should've taken it away the first time. And, I think I do agree with that!
