Yummy in my TUMMY!!!

Guess what?!! Tonight Daddy spoiled me right after dinner. Mommy heard music playing outside and Daddy said, "Bring Eli outside!" After that we went to our front yard and Daddy took me over to a nice man that gave me ice cream! It was the ice cream man, but he didn't drive a van, it was a school bus! Mommy and Daddy say he comes through our neighboorhood almost every evening. Tonight was my lucky night!

Daddy got me a push pop. It was so yummy!

Woah baby!! This is way too cold! I was not expecting that!

A guy could definetly get used to this! I wonder if I will get ice cream every night now! I am so lucky to have an ice cream man in my neighborhood!

After we went back inside, Mommy said I couldn't eat it all by myself because I would get a belly ache. So, she helped me eat it. (I think she just wanted some of my treat.... I told her I could handle the sweets since I'm a big boy, but she didn't listen!)

Dance, Eli, Dance!!

Although Mommy can't get pictures of me dancing, that doesn't mean I can't do it! Mommy and Daddy have noticed me dancing lately, like this morning. Mommy turned on a music channel and I began dancing! I have been doing this the past couple weeks, even when Mommy sings! I shift my weight from one foot to the other and sway back and forth. Mommy thinks its really cute!

This is me playing on my kangaroo climber! I have learned how to crawl up the slide now and I like to slide back down on my belly. I fall off of it a lot though. It doesn't matter, I never cry! I'm a really tough kid!

I like to be goofy for Mommy when whe takes pictures! I have a "real" smile that I usually give her, but when the camera is out she says its a "fake" smile. The picture to the right is me telling her not to take my picture since I'm not dressed yet!! Gosh, Mommies don't understand these kinds of things!

It's a Guy Thing........

Last night Daddy and Mommy took me to a football game! It was fun sitting on Daddy's shoulders, but I liked running around on the grass a lot more. Daddy and Mommy said that our team is really bad, but they still like to go. I even got to play with a couple of my friends,
Zayne and Jaxson!

Here I am on Daddy's shoulders again. He is a lot taller than me and I like to see the game from way up there!

I also like to munch on Daddy's sunglasses too!

The Park.... AGAIN!

We went to the park today! Every time I go to the park, I have more and more fun! I know I post lots of pictures of me at the park, but I have so much fun and you can see how big I am getting! And guess what?!! I can swing on the big swings now! Mommy tried it and helped me hold on and I was able to do it all by myself after only the first time! I can go pretty too! I have a lot more fun on the big swings than those little baby ones.

This is me standing on a swinging bridge with steps! I can't walk across them yet because my legs are too short, but I thought it was fun to stand and sway back and forth!

See, here I am swinging like a big boy all by myself!!
Below is Daddy and me on the teeter-totter. It was fun while it lasted, but Mommy had to pick me up so Daddy could get off because his butt was too big and he said, "ouch, ouch!"
P.S. Also, last night when we were skating, I did another first! I drank out of a straw all by myself! I thought this was a good deal because it made Daddy so happy that he let me drink lots more soda than he usually does!

Skating Part II

And again, we went skating last night, but this time I did not like it very much at all! I was a little tired, but I did love running around and saying hi to everyone in the snack bar area. I know how to work my charm and everyone thought that I was adorable and some people even remembered me from a few weeks ago!

Here is a family photo of me and Daddy and Mommy at the end of the skating session.

And this is a picture of me and Daddy watching all of the skaters on the big floor with all the colorful lights!

This is me and our friend Eddie. He spent some time chasing me around when Mommy and Daddy were getting pooped out!

Hello!!

Hello everyone!
I am so sorry that I haven't been posting lately. The truth is, nothing much exciting is happening at my house. These are pictures taken at my friend, Riley's, 1 year birthday party a little over a week ago. I had lots of fun playing with the balloons.

Anyway, not much new. Mommy is spending lots of time doing homework for school and Daddy just started a second job that he will have for the next few months. And me, well, I like to get into everything now. A few things that make Mommy frustrated is that I love to get into the cupboards and pull dishes out on the floor. (she hasn't had time to buy latches yet, plus she says she wants to wait until we move into the new housebefore she puts things on the cupboards.) And, I can reach the knobs on the stove now, so I like to turn those. Mommy gets very mad when I do that though..... She says it is very dangerous because it turns the fire on, or it lets gas leak into the house. Luckily, so far I have only done it when Mommy was standing there so she saw me and turned it back off..... Then scolded me.

Who is that ADORABLE little boy?!!!

Hi everybody! I just wanted to let you all know that my pictures from JCPenney are online now! To view them, you will want to go to www.smilesbywire.com, then after that you will need to type in the customers name which is my Daddy's first and last name, Ernest ******, (for security reasons, I don't want to type Daddy's last name in blogger), and then the access code is LTPP0808100072JCP. Then click "view portraits" and you will see lots of me! These are a couple of the photos on there. You can order and pay for the photos online if you want to and they will be sent to your home! They are not the best photos, but a few of them are really cute!

The Cheesecake Factory

This is a picture of Daddy, Mommy and me when we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner a few nights ago. It was lots of fun and I got my own desert and they sang Happy Birthday to me since my birthday was only a couple days before. This was after we tried to get pictures taken of me on Sunday.
Yes, the key word was tried to get pictures. Mommy made an appointment for my one year photos a couple of weeks ago at JCPenney's portrait studio. It's about 1 1/2 hours away. We went in on Sunday after my nap and nobody was there. We waited for a couple hours and nobody showed up to work, so we drove all the way back home and they gave us a coupon for 50% off our order when we rescheduled. So we did for yesterday. We went in at 3:30. They had so many problems with the camera, the lady said sorry and she had to call people to fix it. We waited around until 6:30 then the camera worked again. Then after 20 minutes of picture taking, the pictures wouldn't load to the computer for viewing...... We waited another hour. Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy don't really like JCPenney's anymore. We didn't get home last night until almost 10:00, and our appt. was at 3:30!!! And on top of it all, because it was getting so late, I was getting tired and cranky. The pictures turned out okay because I was a good boy and smiled a little bit, but Mommy says that if they had been prepared, the pictures would have been a lot better and we wouldn't have been in a really bad mood. And we wouldn't have gotten any pictures at all if Daddy didn't help the lady with the computer. She didn't know anything about computers or how to work the cameras!!! Bottom line, don't go to JCPenney portrait studio!!!!! Even their corporate office didn't want to help us!

My Own Set of Wheels!

Hi everybody! Guess what I did last night?! Daddy and Mommy took me skating! It was my first time and I had fun!

The skates were just my size, and I really liked learning. Daddy and Mommy thought it was funny that my first time skating was when I was only 1 year and 1 day old!

Mommy, Daddy and, our good friend, Eddie, thought I was doing a really good job for my age! Eddie even said, "that kid is skating before he's even talking!" I was able to keep my balance and stand all by myself. I could wiggle my feet, but it didn't really get me anywhere. Towards the end of the night, if I started falling, I was able to slide my skates in either direction to catch myself!! Everyone there thought that I was SOOO CUTE!!!

Daddy and Mommy always said that there kids would be pro skaters by the time they were three, and I am well on my way! It will be a cute story for me to tell though.... "My Daddy met my Mommy at a skating rink when she was the snack bar girl, they fell in love and then had me. And now they are teaching me to skate really young, which is the reason they met each other!"

Hey, guess what else? Over the entire skating rink the DJ announced "Let's give a good congratulations to, Eli, everybody.... He is turning one year old!" I felt so famous that my name was said in front of all those people! It was so much fun, but by the time we got back home, it was way past my bedtime. Even though I am a big boy now, I still need to go to sleep at 8:00 sharp!
