Mommy and I

Well, I must be honest.... Things around here have been pretttty boring!! Daddy has been gone for a whole week because he is taking classes for work a few hours away. But, he got to come back this weekend to spend some time with Mommy and I. He left this morning to go back. He will be back on Friday! Since things have been so boring (and because I lost part of the camera) we haven't been taking many pictures. I'll try harder this week to do something new and fun! I am saying a new word, though. Everytime Daddy or Mommy puts me into my carseat in the car, I say, "HOT!" It's really hot here now, in the 100's!

Bath Time!

Here I am in the bath tub. I know this may not be exciting for a lot of you, but my Daddy is out of town and he wants videos of me! So, here you go Daddy! I love you and miss you.

I really love bath time and I like to lay down on my stomach and dunk my face under water! I like playing with my boat and I love to squirt Mommy with my rubber duckies and squirt fish! She laughs when I get her wet, and that makes me laugh!

Sleeping with a...... What???

Yes, I must say that what you see, is true. The last few nights I have been wanting to take my cell phone to bed with me. Mommy says that because I go to bed like a big boy now and don't get out, she doesn't mind if I take my cell phone with me. But, I fell asleep like this. Mommy always comes in to give me one last kiss before she goes night-night and she almost laughed out loud when she saw the phone up by my ear! I guess I am a silly boy.

This morning Mommy and I were just playing around the house. I like to play with whatever I can get my hands on! Today, it was a measuring tape, which Mommy took away shortly after so that I didn't strangle myself. As you can tell, I was all smiles when the camera came on. I really am a ham!

Another fun thing that I can finally tell everyone is that I have a new friend! Well, kind of a "friend." If you look on the right hand side of this blog page and scroll down a little bit, you will see a "My Friends" section. Under that is a link to go and see a new blog page that Daddy and Mommy have been working on!!

Catching Up on ZZZZ's

Daddy is really happy because lately, I have been able to fall asleep more places than just my bed and carseat. The last couple of nights around my bedtime, I fall asleep on the couch or the floor with a pillow and blanket. This is me last night when I fell asleep on Mommy's lap. Daddy and Mommy thought I was super cute.

I was more tired last night than usual because I didn't get a nap. Mommy had to go take a college test and so I went to daycare for about an hour. The daycare lady said that I was a really good boy!

Splish Splash!!

After we got home from Arizona today I got to try out my new splash pool that I got for Easter! I liked it a lot and loved it when my face got wet!

Daddy and Mommy think that this will be a fun toy for this summer when it gets really hot outside!

Happy Easter!

For Easter, Daddy and Mommy and me went to Arizona to visit Great Grandpa Don and Great Grandma Evelyn. These are some pictures of me with them.

I had lots of fun and even learned to say a new word! I say "pizza" like a pro!

I love Easter! I woke up yesterday morning and there were bright balls in the living room that had candy in them! I found one and opened it and ate the jellybeans all gone. Then Mommy told me to get more and put them in my basket, so that is what I did. I liked the candy from the Easter bunny and Daddy and Mommy were so proud that I hunted for my eggs so well. Mommy says the Easter Bunny will have to find some trickier hiding spots next year!!

Other than candy, the Easter Bunny got me a splash pool!

The picture below is a picture for Grandpa Doug!! Great Grandpa and Grandma had some candy for me at their house too... All I have to say is, like Grandpa like grandson.

How Do YOU Eat an Oreo?

A few nights ago Daddy taught me how to eat an oreo like a real man. I love to dip my oreos in milk now. Only, I like to dip and then suck the milk off.....then dip again!!! Mommy got frustrated at this because peices of my cookie were floating in her milk. The funny thing is, I had a chocolate chip cookie today and Mommy was surprised when I went straight to her milk for dipping! Daddy and Mommy think that it is funny how I remember so well.
Also, I am saying two new words. One is "Hi" and I wave my hand. I like to say hi to literally everybody! I will even wave and say hi to people in cars next to ours if we are stopped at a light! The other new word I like to say is "ball." However, unlike Uncle Chris, I can say more words than just this one... (Love you Uncle Chris!)

Sea World

The picture above is me and Daddy when we were waiting for a show to start. My favorite animal show was the Seals and Sea Otter. The seals were so silly! I watched the whole thing and pointed at them and "awed" through the whole thing because they were so neat! I also really liked the shark tank. We walked through a tunnel and sharks swam on top of us!

This is me and Daddy when we were feeding the flamingos! Actually, I couldn't throw the food very far, so a lot of the ducks ended up eating the food. Oh well, it was still lots of fun!

This is me touching a bat ray! They are really wet and icky, but I liked touching it! Daddy held on tight so I didn't fall in!

I really liked Sea World and we were there for a really long time. By the time we left, I was pooped out! Mommy and Daddy even bought me a sweatshirt for a souvenir that had Shamu on it and says Sea World, San Diego. I hope we get to go back soon!

Beach Bum

We went to the beach to play before we went to see my brand new cousin! I really liked the water and wasn't scared at all. This was the first time I ever got to play in the ocean! I liked to walk in the water and get my shorts wet.

Daddy stayed really close to me so that I wouldn't fall into the water. One of my favorite things was to dig my toes underneath the sand. This is me and Mommy. Mommy was trying not to get wet because we were going over to my cousin's house later and she didn't want to ruin her outfit. However, she got in a little deep and her shoe got stuck in the sand! When she pulled her foot out, the ocean stole her shoe and started taking it out to sea! She about dove for it, but not wanting to fall in she yelled for Daddy, who was with me back on the shore, to help her retrieve her shoe. Daddy ran after it and it got pretty far away when a man swimming caught it and gave it to Daddy. It was really funny. After that, Mommy just took her shoes off completely!
