The BIG 0-2!

Today is my 2nd birthday! Now, when people ask if I am 2, I can finally say yes!! People have thought that I was 2 for months now because I look so big for my age. Anyway, I posted a fun video of me blowing out the candles on my birthday cake! I got a golf set from Daddy and Mommy and said, "OOOH, Golf!" when I opened it.

I also got a book and a bathtime toy from Aunt Traci. After opening it, I proceeded to say, "wow!" and "bath?!" over and over again. Of course, Grandpa Doug and Grandma Donita got me my cool rocker chair to sit in, which they gave me when they were here last month. I love my chair and sit in it every morning to watch cartoons. I also got money for my piggy bank and lots of neat cards. Thanks everyone!

2 Year Check-Up

Well folks, looks like I am growing like a champ! I went in for my 2 year check-up today and the doctor says, "Oooh, I can tell that he's a "real boy" by the bruises on his shins. The doctor also said that with a toddler like me and a little baby sister like Jaydlie, that Daddy and Mommy must never get any sleep! What's that supposed to mean?!

Anyhow, here are my new stats:

I am now 29 pounds and am 1 1/4 inches shy from being 3 feet tall!!! That's crazy! Mommy says she can't believe how big I have gotten. I am trying to make her realize that I am a grown-up and I can set my rules.... She's really not going for it though.

I am a typical 2 year old. I like to get into the utensils and use them to hit balls around the house, I like to dump my basket of toys about 10 times a day just so I can watch Mommy pick them up time after time.... I like to smear my lunch on the table every afternoon and then, I go up to my room for a good jump on the bed before I give into my naptime. I like to take my diaper off and run around the house naked on occassion. I really like to push the baskets of dirty clothes out of the laundry room into the living room and proceed to dump them all over. I also really like to color on the walls and then when Mommy sees me, I stop and say, "UH-OH" as if I had nothing to do with it. What can I say?! I've heard from people that Daddy and Mommy are probably "looking forward" to my terrible two's. So, I guess I have to do everything I can to make it a memorable year for them, right!! (Hence, my devilish smile in the above picture)

Golfing

I LOVE GOLFING!!! I just kind of picked it up a few months ago, but I like going to the driving range with Daddy and hitting the balls around with my own putter! Daddy got this one for me and cut it down to my size! It is left handed. I color right handed, but golf left handed.

All joking and laughing aside, Daddy and Mommy truly think that I am good at this sport. That makes Daddy really happy! Watch the video and you'll see what I mean.

Mommy made this really cool slide show of me and Jaydlie's photos that were taken today!! This video is "adorable" as Mommy would say it.

Mommy's Big Helper

Mommy talking: How adorable is this picture?! You can really tell that Eli adores his baby sister....

I am such a big helper for Mommy. I like to hold Jaydlie a
lot, but I don't get to help feed her very much, since Mommy does most of that. Today, I asked Mommy if I could and she let me feed baby Jayde her bottle! I got Jaydlie to stop crying and that made me really happy!

470, Amber Ablaze

I did an, "uh-oh." A big one at that. These are pictures from the crime scene. The other morning I got up and came downstairs to give Mommy hugs and kisses. She was sleeping on the couch with Jaydlie for the morning. But, I took a detour along the way. Mommy thought this was blood at first, but come to find out it was color 470, aka amber ablaze......... And yes, it is nail polish. With that being said, the below picture is what the big uh-oh was. I decided to paint the carpet with this dark red color. I also painted myself too. I thought I would do Daddy and Mommy a favor and show them how pretty the carpet would be if it was red! Well, what do you think? Daddy and Mommy got really mad, but I think it looks nice. Hmmm... Mommy also wants to know if any of you all have ever painted your carpet and what you did to get it out?? Daddy has tried everything!

Well, talk to you later, gotta go do some more damage wherever I can...

I think I saw color 145 in that bag too... That's blue!
