Well, here I am. The very first time I get to see the ocean. These are pictures of me and Mommy and Daddy together at Redondo Beach Pier, which was right by our hotel room. We took a little walk on the beach in the afternoon and then I told Daddy how much I love him by celebrating Father's Day that night. I am really sad that I won't get to see him on Father's Day, but Mommy says I can talk to him on the webcam. I gave him a mousepad and a necktie, both with my pictures on it! He really liked them. Then, I made him wear the tie out to dinner. We went to a Japanese Steakhouse where the tables caught on fire! I didn't get scared though and Daddy and Mommy said it was the best! 
Hey, Grandma Kathy, this is me eating a churro. You told me I needed to, so I made Daddy buy me one. Boy, was it yummy! Mommy had never had one either, and she really liked it too.

Pretty yummy huh Eli? Grandma used to love going to the pier and eating those as well as feeding the leftovers to the seagulls. Make sure you stop back by the pier and eat another one for Grandma on your way home from the airport. I love you lots and lots.
