Remember I told you that at my 1 year check up there was fluid in my ears? Well, right around the time Mommy had to take me into the doctor 6 weeks later to find out if the fluid was gone, I got sick. She took me in to check both problems and the Doctor said that the fluid caused a really bad ear infection in both ears! I couldn't sleep for 6 nights! Me and Mommy got really tired. The picture above is my fat face because my lymph nodes are so swollen trying to fight off my infection. That was a couple of days ago when I didn't feel good at all. Today, I feel much better! The doctor said to come back in 6 more weeks to check the fluid because she can't tell if it is causing problems for me since I was sick.
I felt so good yesterday that I decided to try to eat a watercolor colored pencil! It got on my face and fingers, after I colored a little on the floor. I really like to color now. At restaurants Mommy and Daddy let me color with the crayons! It's a lot of fun and I am really good at it!
Oh, and at the doctors office they weighed me again. Guess what?! I weigh exactly the same as my 1 year appointment! 23 pounds, 3 oz. The Doctor said that is just fine since I am so active. I work off all the calories I eat. In fact, she said that I was so active she is surprised I haven't lost weight!

Crayons and colored pencils can be fun, but you are not suppose to eat them. Tell Mommy to put away all permenant writing objects. She'll understand why I say that.

I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well Eli. Earaches are so horrible to have. I think you colored your face blue so you could show on the outside how you are feeling on the inside.. Smart Boy.. Love you bunches..
