Happy Daddy's Day to all the Daddy's out there! Today has been a pretty good day. I got up this morning and gave Daddy his gift. It was a golf card and a golf picture frame. The golf ball says, "Dad #1" on it and it is a holding a picture of the very first time Daddy and I went golfing together back in November (you can view the picture under my November 2006 archives). Mommy and I thought this was the perfect gift because Daddy loves to golf and he
always says he wants to teach me!
The funny thing is, this evening Daddy turned golf on the TV and I got excited and started saying, "ball!" Then, I ran to the kitchen and got a utensil that would work well as a golf club. I watched the guys on TV some more and started hitting the golf ball around like I was golfing! Daddy and even Mommy say that they think I could be pro in a couple of years and even beat Tiger Woods. Tell Mommy and Daddy they need to buy you a set of golf clubs. Just be careful around the t.v.... Oh I also remember a set that you got from Great Grandma Jan for Christmas, you loved that set, but was pretty rough with it. Maybe it needs to be an "outdoor" toy.
