Well folks, looks like I am growing like a champ! I went in for my 2 year check-up today and the doctor says, "Oooh, I can tell that he's a "real boy" by the bruises on his shins. The doctor also said that with a toddler like me and a little baby sister like Jaydlie, that Daddy and Mommy must never get any sleep! What's that supposed to mean?!
Anyhow, here are my new stats:
I am now 29 pounds and am 1 1/4 inches shy from being 3 feet tall!!! That's crazy! Mommy says she can't believe how big I have gotten. I am trying to make her realize that I am a grown-up and I can set my rules.... She's really not going for it though.
I am a typical 2 year old. I like to get into the utensils and use them to hit balls around the house, I like to dump my basket of toys about 10 times a day just so I can watch Mommy pick them up time after time.... I like to smear my lunch on the table every afternoon and then, I go up to my room for a good jump on the bed before I give into my naptime. I like to take my diaper off and run around the house naked on occassion. I really like to push the baskets of dirty clothes out of the laundry room into the living room and proceed to dump them all over. I also really like to color on the walls and then when Mommy sees me, I stop and say, "UH-OH" as if I had nothing to do with it. What can I say?! I've heard from people that Daddy and Mommy are probably "looking forward" to my terrible two's. So, I guess I have to do everything I can to make it a memorable year for them, right!! (Hence, my devilish smile in the above picture)

Grandma Kathy has to laugh and smile at all of your antics, Eli. You remind me so much of your daddy at your age. He was a curious sort and liked to get into all sorts of mischief. But hey? How else ya gonna learn huh? I sure hope you have a very happy birthday and I will be seeing you in person in a little over a month so get those hugging arms ready! Love you lots. Grandma Kathy
Hmmmmmmmmm did I ever tell you the story about how I got woke up from a neighbor at 6 am? Seems your daddy and uncles were taking an early morning stroll... totally naked. I believe your daddy was about 3 years old. So Eli.. you come by it naturally lol.. Love you lots Grandma.
This picture really does make you look like a typical 2 year old. Or as some people might say "a devilish look". You keep your mommy and daddy busy, don't you. Hope you have a great 2nd birthday. Have fun at your party, we sure wish we could be there. LOVE YOU
