I did an, "uh-oh." A big one at that. These are pictures from the crime scene. The other morning I got up and came downstairs to give Mommy hugs and kisses. She was sleeping on the couch with Jaydlie for the morning. But, I took a detour along the way. Mommy thought this was blood at first, but come to find out it was color 470, aka amber ablaze......... And yes, it is nail polish. With that being said, the below picture is what the big uh-oh was. I decided to paint the carpet with this dark red color. I also painted myself too. I thought I would do Daddy and Mommy a favor and show them how pretty the carpet would be if it was red! Well, what do you think? Daddy and Mommy got really mad, but I think it looks nice. Hmmm... Mommy also wants to know if any of you all have ever painted your carpet and what you did to get it out?? Daddy has tried everything!Well, talk to you later, gotta go do some more damage wherever I can...
I think I saw color 145 in that bag too... That's blue!

Eli, Eli, Eli. I bet you had some time to yourself after painting the carpet, huh? Like, time out? Not fair. You were just exploring. Tell Mommy and Daddy it was just a learning experience for you. I doubt they'll buy it, but you can try.
Tell Mommy I'm not sure how to get nail polish out of carpet but when she married your Daddy and moved out of Grandma and Grandpa's house, there were spots of ink, paint, and I don't know what else on the carpet in her room that we couldn't get out, either. But anyway, maybe you better stick with crayons and coloring books for awhile there, buddy.

Hey ELI!!! Love your artwork!! Well I just dont think red is your color. Maybe next time you can find out what the color BLUE is about! I would stay away from pink also...too much like red. Well anyway it goes on the walls...not carpet. (Man I still have alot to teach you.) Just dont write your name on the wall. And with that being said I will let you wonder why you dont want to write your name on the wall.
hey eli. just tell mommy and daddy to look on the bright side... at least color 470 (amber ablaze) is a pretty color! i think it really brings out those cute eyes.. tell them it could be an icky greenish brown. but i think 470 sure does look good on you! especially covering your foot.... oh and tell mommy to try NAIL POLISH REMOVER!! in case you didnt know already.. im the smart one of me and your mom. haha im just kidding. im sure they already tried it.. apparently didnt work.
Hi Eli, Grandma did a search just now on the internet and the most used method to remove nail polish is simple green or shaving cream. I haven't tried it myself but it might just work. Things found on my carpet when your daddy was little are to many to count. But if he gets mad.. tell him that Grandma had to rope up the fridge and turn the knot to the back to keep him and his brothers out of it. There was no keeping them out of trouble lol.
