Night-time Fun

This week I have been having lots of fun at night-time when I should be in bed. Every night, I go up to room to go to sleep, but sometimes I don't want to sleep. This is me last night when Mommy came upstairs to make sure that I had gone to sleep. Well, I did go to sleep, but apparently, I golfed first! Mommy and Daddy thought this was kind of funny.

(If you go to my archives and click on "March 2007" you wil see at the bottom of that page how I fell asleep on the stairs last time. )

I don't always sneak out of bed to golf at night though either. For instance, a few nights ago Mommy heard me get out of bed and sit down on the stairs around the corner. Her and Daddy couldn't see me, but they could hear me. Mommy figured that I would eventually go back to my room and go to sleep. About 1/2 hour later, she hadn't heard me for a while so, came upstairs to check on me and I was playing in Daddy and Mommy's bedroom. Then, a closer look told her that I was on her cell phone..... I called Grandpa Doug and Grandma Donita's house! I was talking on the phone with Grandma at 12:30 in the morning at her house! Mommy said she was sorry and that I would get in trouble, but Grandma thought it was funny and she was glad that I chose to call her! So, beware... If you are in my Mommy's cell phone, you might be getting phone call tonight!

Oh, Eli, you are so lucky you can sleep anywhere. If Grandma would fall asleep in that position, I would not be able to move when I woke up. You really should stay in bed, it's much more comfortable and safer. If you fall asleep on the stairs you might fall down them some night. I loved our late night phone call. You shouldn't play with mommy's phone, but if you do, you can always call me. I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH !

I sure hope your mommy has my number programed into her phone. lol. Of course if you tried to call me at night.. I wouldn't be home. So make mine daytime calls okay? Be careful on those stairs. Love you lots. Grandma Kathy
