Yesterday we went swimming for the first time this season! Mommy caked on the sunscreen and she did a great job because JJ and I didn't even get one bit pink! We stayed for about an hour and then left. But, guess what? Mommy got burned! She wanted a little tan, so she didn't use the sunscreen. Bad Mommy. It was OVER 100 degrees yesterday!!
I'll admit, I was a little scared of the water at first, and didn't like it when Daddy and Mommy would try to let go of me, I had to wrap my legs around them or I thought I was going to fall! Then, Daddy let me piggy back on him and I LOVED doing that!

Hi, Eli! Grandpa is jealous. Your pool is open and you can go swimming. Our swimming pool here is still closed and has yucky water in it so we can't swim. Good thing you can cool off since it is sooooo hot there! Don't be scared of the water. Just make sure Mommy and Daddy are with you!!

Well count Grandma Kathy in on the jealous side lol. She doesn't have a swimming pool opened or closed to swim in. Looks like you are having a great time. Maybe when I come in september it will still be hot enough that I can go swimming with you.. Love you bunches, Grandma Kathy
